Neighbors Talk To Neighbors Today's Tips
This page is provided for residents who wish to communicate with other residents for one reason or another. Keep it friendly and positive or educational and helpful. If you've a question for which someone who lives here may have an answer, this is your opportunity! We'd also like to welcome people who move into our neighborhood! We're anxious to meet you and get to know you. On this page we have the opportunity to be introduced to you and your family. If you are a new resident, the neighbors would love to know who you are.

Please take a moment to share your information with the residentsof Saddlebrook. Give as much, or as little, information about you and your family as you wish.

If you are a long time resident of Saddlebrook living next to a new member of our community, take a moment to ask them if you could introduce them to the rest of us on this page.

It's easy and quick!

ICE MELT ON ENTRANCES

Have you noticed that the side of our entrances that have incoming traffic are always clear of snow and ice? That's because cars entering the community bring ice melt into the entry from 56th St. If anyone is coming in and there's no one exiting the neighborhood, it would be helpful to drive on the LEFT SIDE OF THE MEDIAN to bring some of that ice melt to that side as well.

ROUGH ROAD CONDITION ON MANNING

For those of us who use Manning Road to get to 62nd Street, there's another option. Turn left, immediately out of the neighborhood on to CATALPA. There's only one pothole, located on the North side of Catalpa, just before the new cement into Saddlebrook North. Go into the newer section and turn RIGHT on to CANDLEWICK and take it up to 62. This takes you a little bit West, and is much better driving! Don't speed...we don't want THEM speeding through OUR neighborhood when THEY come through to 56th!

BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE

Brickhouse Fitness Center, located just West of Saddlebrook in the small strip shopping area, is sponsoring a Biggest Loser Challenge. Owner Rich James is a Saddlebrook homeowner and will offer special events for Saddlebrook residents and their family member, friends and colleagues. Registration begins Jan 4 at the Center with initial weigh in on Jan. 9. Check it out!

Maintenance of the Golf Course Fence

With the announcement that the fence around the golf course will be replace in the next five months, we should expect no maintenance on it. If we don't like what we see, the best thing we can do is paint the section we look at and enjoy the view!

Appreciate the golf course

My property is adjacent to the golf course, and I can say that I enjoy the location of my home every day. It's a quiet, and lovely setting. I've painted my side of the fence several times just because I like the cleaner look of new paint. I understand the fence belongs to the golf course, but I'm the one looking at my side, so I just took the initiative to take care of my portion. It cost less than $20 and two hours of my time...well worth it!

Central Entrance Lights

I'm glad to see the lights finally working in the entry of Saddlebrook Central. Hope they've been fixed permanently!
